It offers professional sound quality i.e, no extra bass or treble like in commercial earphones designed for bass/treble lovers. Instead, these earphones amplify all, I repeat ’all’ the layers just right giving a quality sound output. So, obviously, they can be used for recording among other things. The wire, however, is a little fragile and can’t withstand repeated yanking and other abuse. Overall, they’re a great pair of earphones.
