Singapore is the most famous tourist place, I wanted to visit this. Since my brother in law was in Singapore we had got chance to visit that wonderful place.
We went there by airplane. The journey was good. Since it was in the night not slept well we reached the airport felt very refreshed to see one of the world’s best airports. Everywhere plants/flowers, very clean and neat. We had had pizza then we headed towards our hotel by taxi.
The taxi drive was very cheerful. Along the both sides of road there are lots of trees. Very cool though the Singapore is hot otherwise! The more ever the taxi drivers are really good exceptional isn’t it? They talk with you with high regards. There is no chance of cheating. They are very professional.
We had taken hotel in area called “Littlie India”. When you see the road/shops/people you feel that you are in India. There are lots of north Indian and south Indian restaurants. There is also one “China town” in Singapore. The main languages of Singapore include “Chinese, Malaya, Tamil and English”. We had taken some rest.
In the afternoon we went to see the area called “Clarky Way”. In this area there are lots of Italian/Thai/Chinese restaurants. We had gone for river ride. The river ride was really charming on the both sides of us huge buildings. It was really confusing. Every building was beautiful. The ride became very interesting when we saw the national symbol of Singapore i.e. “Marion”. It means the lion of water. It’s is half fish half lion. We got down at this spot took some photos and spent some time there.
After coming from ride we went for “Gmax thrill ride” It was really heart breaking. It was kind of free fall. I never wanted to do it finally ended up doing it. However my heart was pounding like anything.
In the night we went for “Nigh Safari” very soothing, natural experience I would say.
I felt really happy from my heart. It was really very calm. We had seen lots of animal including animals from India like elephant. They have maintained it very way. Really a delightful experience! Actually we were tired since we reached we kept doing something or the other. After this night Safari I felt very relaxing and I got all the energy back.
The next day we went for one of the Singapore’s great attraction i.e. “Jurong’s bird park”.
Everywhere you see different kind of birds. For instance flamingo, falcons, parrots, penguin and owls all types of birds. It is very big park.
You know they hold the bird’s show. Quite interesting we watched one show called “All birds show”. It was very very entertaining. They rode the cycle. Birds went through rings. The bird came to collect the currency note. They had performed many items. We liked it very much. After the show we took the photos with different birds. I like flamingo very much quite big and very colorful. Then through out day we roamed in the park but still felt that we need some more time to explore things. They have created perfect environment for birds. In on of the aviaries’ small birds they would come and sit on you hands/shoulders to have food. So nice to hold them in our hands! As soon as the drink gets over they will run away. So smart!
We had not wanted to leave the park but we had to.
Singapore’s weather is quite hot. You have to keep one umbrella with you always.
Finally we went to the one more attraction i.e. “Sentosa Island” however I would like to call it as “Land of entertainment”. The naturally it is so beautiful. There are small small lagoons everywhere on the island surrounded by trees. Even if you spend 2 days here it is not enough. There is tower ride from that you can see whole island. It just so beautiful, I can not express in words.
Then there are so many attractions like underwater world, dolphin show, Butterfly Park and the most important is “The musical fountain show”.
I really love to go this place again and again :-)
