Hi....I would like to tell all of you that there is no other place like Singapore...I visited Singapore last year in May end.....because if you really love to shop then join the fun at the Great Singapore Shopping from May 26th to July 23rd which is the best period, from Downtown Orchard Road and Marina Bay to the shops in heartlands, one can really enjoy discounts upto 70% on just about everything, if you charge your purchases to MasterCard, you stand to win exciting prizes and gift hampers. I did it all.....Malls in Singapore that I visited were Mustafa Centre, Suntec City Mall, Orchard Road, Outram Park/China Town and do not forget to visit the MONEY EXCHANGE counter :) ..... Currency can be exchanged at all banks, hotels, and wherever the sign ’’Licensed Money Changer’’ is displayed. I have been to ’’Little India’’ where one can find stuff from India, but being an Indian it was not of much importance to me. I enjoyed freaking out in Singapore....it’s a place like heaven, I have seen all what I have heard in stories. I visited exciting places over there, few examples are Animal Kingdom, Butterfly Park & Insect Kingdom, Jurong Bird Park, Night Safari, Underwater world, Singapore Zoo. Night Safari, I really enjoyed the most. My stay was in Hotel Holiday Inn, Outram Road. I also visited Sri Mariamman Temple - oldest Hindu temple over there, this is really a nice place with real peace. Being vegetarian it was difficult for me to have meals in the hotel I stayed, so I used to go the Sirangoon Road where I found lot of Asian Vegetarian restaurants, one of them was Komala’s chain of Indian Restaurant. The food in Komala’s is delicious.....and I enjoyed, sometimes I used to get Cup Noodles for my self while shopping that I can have in my hotel room only. The same restaurant I visited in Bangkok too on my return journey from Singapore. I was in Transit. In Bangkok also, I ENJOYED a lot, specially SHOPPING...........I been to so many malls.............MBK Mall, Robinsons Mall, Emporium etc. There my stay was n Hotel Rembrandt, Sukhumvit. And been to Museum of Bangkok. Lastly, my stay at Singapore was fantastic and I loved it like anything...... :)
