Ekta Kapoor’s serials are really defy all logic. It is surprising that inspite of this the TRP ratings for her serials have remained high.
Considering her serials are more likely to be watched by middle class people, why on earth can’t she base her serials on that section of the sociaty rather rather than showing all her characters floating in money.
The characters in her serials seem to get ready faster than an express train. For example, in Kasautii, in the episode where Komolika sees Moloy Basu sneking out early in the morning to meet Anurag, we see that Komolika has just got up from bed but yet she manages to follow Moloy Basu all dressed up with make up (which considering her dressing style should take atleast an hour). Was Moloy waiting for her to get ready so he could allow her to follow him? In yet another episode, when Komolika sneaks into the mysterious bungalow to find out who lives there, we see that the moment she hears a car honking, she runs into another room, surprising she doesn’t investigate further and manages to reach Basu house in minutes. Are the homes of all the characters in these serials always open to allow for sneaking by the so called vamps.
Komolika again - where on earth does she get so much money to pay Indronil for all the illegal work he does for her - her personal account seems to be overflowing for all useless purposes.
KKusum (supposedly an ’’aam ladki ki kahani’’) gets married so often. Do average middle class girls or for that matter any girl get married so often.
Most of the vamps are either ditched in love or lust for money - is Ekta short of motives - and which person in his/her senses would seek revenge till eternity. There is no end to revenge taking in her serials - Payal from Kyunki continues with her revenge taking spree till now when she is supposedly in her 50’s - wow 30 yrs of revenge. Coming to Aporna - she was supposedly doing some kind of natak of being good for 8 yrs so she could kill Anurag after that - hey did she know that Anurag was going to gift her all his property and isn’t marrying a rich man enough if one loves money so much (not that she was denied anything). She supposedly stayed in Calcutta for 9 months while she was carrying Debu’s illegitimate child - surprising Anurag didn’t go to Calcutta even once in those 9 months to be with her while she was supposedly taking care of her grandfather.
Why on earth do all the good characters suffer endlessly while the vamps enjoy life. What kind of a message is she sending that ’’be evil if u wanna enjoy life’’.
Hmmm, the characters have a bad habit of talking indirectly or sending half messages - creating room for misunderstanding, Miss Ektaa.
Wow, must congratulate all the saas and bahus for always looking so neat and well dressed with make up and jewellery even while cooking and sleeping. Come morning, not a hair is out of place while they wake up.
Reappearence of the dead - the standard funda to create a climax - first Mihir , then Bajaj and then Anurag. Who next?
Everending Marriages and Pujas Daadis and Naanis look like they are 30 yrs old. Lost children has become the funda of kyunki and illegitimate children is the funda of Kasautti. Characters emerging out of nowhere. Phew
One servant or noe at all and the house remains sparkling clean - never seen any members cleaning up the house even once.
Her serials have no story or a message - they just go on endlessly showing some idiocy or the other. It’s a shame that people continue to watch such nonsense, giving rise to TRP’s and basically testing the patience of any sensible viewer.
