First time ever I am writing a review only to ensure that people don’t get taken for a ride by these fly-by-night movie rental companies. While a lot has been written about the pathetic customer service of Seventymm, here are some startling (and hidden) facts about their product:
One never knows how many movies one has watched and how many are left in the account (unless one keeps a count himself). The account does not tell u anything
Most of the movies delivered are badly scratched - let alone being able to watch them, they can do serious harm to the lens of ur dvd players.
Sales people tell you that no penalty for returning late - they NEVER tell u that if you dont return on time they will keep increasing the count of movies watched despite you having the same movie with you!! (must be there in the fine print)
The english library is pathetic with very poor classical collection
They claim to give welcome call and send welcome letter but I never got either of them while their account has recorded the same
Online software is quite sad .. very basic and non-functional..... there are lot more but I think I have driven home the point. WATCH OUT !
