It is clean and reasonably well decorated in anIndo Foreign stores sort of way. Washrooms are clean and thankfully separated from the main dining hall by a door. There is a waiting room as well as space outside and on holidays you may even need to wait in a queue to get in. The place attracts a lot of families from the nearby area so be prepared for some amount of noise.
For `300 the lunch and dinner menus change daily. The food is neither oily nor packed with masala. In fact, I would say that it is exceedingly simple and could do with some sprucing up in terms of recipes and fresh vegetables
