Shakti Sports is an old, famous(not for service, since its the only store) store on Tilak Road. They recently opened a multi storied shop but seems like don’t have strategy to run it.Considering there is not much option for buying good sports stuff Pune city, every body has to go to Shakti Sports on Tilak Road and that is why the sales persons there may be so adamant and uninterested in showing up their goods as they know customer has no option but to buy it(After all its Pune shop). After opening a mall, I saw that, same sales persons and behavious is there.
No value for customer. Sales persons are not keen on showing, giving information or guiding their customers. Not only that the persons seating on the counters are typical Puneri mentality guys who treat their customers very rudely. Following examples I can give which I experiance two times:
I went to buy sketes for my son, the sales person who was showing it to me put up wrong color shoelace on it, I told him to change and he said " Kai Rao Pahale sanagayacha na, kay tras aahe( You could have told me earlier, what a trouble)".
A young guy, came to replace his Volley Ball on second day of purchase with packing intact for replacement. The salesperson on the counter talk to him so rudely since he was a young college student and asked him that why didn’t you noticed earlier that its a oval shape volley ball. We don’t give replacements.
My question is they should appologize for keeping oval shape ball and should give him replacement.
My suggestion is go to any other shop(even small) but avoid Shakti Sports if you want good treatment. After all we customers should teach them lessons and teach them how to sell. The day another option available I will never ever go to this shop.
