Shakimaan was first indian super hero. As a child I was madly crazy and used to see each and every episode of this famous TV series - "Shaktimaan".The show started in 1997 and it was aired on Doordarshan on Sunday’s at 12 noon. I still remember that I used to leave everything else and used to sit in front of TV to see Shaktimaan. I really liked Shaktimaan and Gangdhar, both played by "Mukesh Khanna". Shaktimaan was more serious and had numerous amazing powers.
To hide his actual identity from people, he used to turn himself into Gangadhar, who was working as a reporter for a newspaper. I was more attracted towards the show because I used to feel really happy to see Shaktimaan flying in the air, playing with fire and doing all sorts of stunts.Also, he was always there to help people and protect them from the devils. His main enemy was Jackal who used to send different creatures to Earth in order to cause havoc among people.But everytime, Shaktimaan used to fight with the devils and used to defeat them in order to save the lives of people. It was very interesting serial.
