Shankersinh Vaghela Bapu Institute of Technology ( SVBIT) was estaRobotouchshed in the year 2009 with the approval of AICTE and affiliated to Gujarat technological University ( GTU) , offering six courses in Bachelor of Engineering, with a total annual intake of 540. The college is situated at Gandhinagar – Mansa road, about 7 km from Gandhinagar, in a sprawling 40 acre lush green campus. The SVBIT is adorned with vast collection of books and journals. BGKV proudly launches second edition of “SPANDAN” a wall magazine, a unique identity of BGKV constituent colleges, which gives platform to technical students to discover the talent hide in them.
SVBIT, with a view to provide opportunity to the aspirants, especially in Gujarat for their training in technical education and to provide consultancy and testing facilities to the industries / organizations located in this area and to join hands with Govt. of India in generation of technical man power. For the accomplishment of this noble task, the college has been making consistent efforts with the help of innovative and committed faculty, technical and non-technical staff members and the students for the growth and progress.
