A phenomenun in English lit....

You have to have a heart to fall in love...with this book or with anything in this world.I won’t exaggerate my own story as this is a review on this book called, "Shantaram"...

Does this book have a beginning or an end..?.i don’t think so...

It starts from where we stop talking about the world with the world and begin listening to the sound that comes from sum where really far...yes from our heart...

A ten year sentence in a far off country, an escape, a convict beginning to fall in love with a city and captivated in the love of a women he never got....

Even I don’t know whether all that Lin talks about himself was true or not...but I agree that the thoughts that he put into life around himself and around others he gradually came to love was very wise...it might still be not true but yes.it was wise....it came to him in the end, it comes to us in the end...for this is what wisdom is...an end...bought about by death...brought about by suffering........

The plot lags...some people feel....it’s very long some might suggest, but tell me truly all of you....if you can buy wisdom from someone else suffering and guilt, isn’t it a fair and economical deal.......

So what’s special.......about this bike...well everything....n ya if u can feel and accept and be honest enough to praise real beauty in real sense...you will no doubt love this book.....length doesn’t matter.....what matters is content whic h "shantaram" really has...

It’s not the whole of all truth and all life....but most of it enclosed in a capsule of 934 pages....

My advice: Read it before you die.
