Previously I was using ICICIDirect and due to its high brokerage I opened account in Sharehakh.
Sharekhan is good brokerage rate wise. But website is most nonfunctional except trade web page. Some of the points are given below:-
My Portfolio does not reflect BSE traded equities. When you add manually, nothing happens and you can never see true picture of your portfolio.Gain/Loss calculation does not include your Service Tax, STT (STT Amt), Stamp Duty and Turnover Tax [Charges].
There is no way to see whether you are in profit or in loss. You have to do everything manually to see your profit and loss for your shares traded at this site. Compare this with icicidirect.com where you can clearly see your gain/lossYou can never see the trading order history of more than 7 days as you can see on icicidirect.comUnder My portfolio, there is one feature called “Capital gain Report”. This gives you the loss/gain without including your expenditures as mentioned in point 1. This gives you totally erroneous calculation
