I recently opened Sharekhan account, the name was incorrect, Made phone calls, spent long minutes talking with one after another, Sent mails through website, and to their complaint cell but no replies. It appear those mails are simply dumped.
I have never experienced such a nil response with any kind of business.Their so called ‘chat now’ section in website does not work at all.For people on the move, this kind of response will be horrible
Also I have ICICI Direct account, even though they are bit costlier, customer service is best.Phone queries will be addressed promptly and reply to mails will be with in two days normally. Only problem will be online trading site sucks time sometimes. which is common with all this trading sites.
I am going to close the Sharekhan account, better to close now than facing potential issues at a later date. I am not sure what problems await for closing, will let know once gone through the process.
