Shikhar Movie Review:
Shikhar is John M Matthan’s second venture after Sarfarosh, so expectations are high.Shahid and Ajay look like they’ve given good performances by the promos, let’s see how they did.
The story goes Ajay wants to build a dream town.They start work on the city and the conflict comes when Guruji won’t give up his town.So Ajay tries to get Guruji’s son Shahid to convince Guruji that it’s a profit.
Positives:
-The movie starts off well.It tells you what the problem is right from the start.
-Ajay has given a good performance.
-Shahid is amazing in this movie
-The songs come at perfect times
-The director shows that he understands the story
Minuses:
-the story slows down in the second half
-The ending isn’t very convincing
Performances:
No doubt Ajay gives an applaud worthy performance.He’s really shaped up as an actor.
Bips is there for looks.
Amrita is good in her small role.
Shahid rocks!This performance is up there with Fida.He shines in every scene he has.
All in all, not a bad movie that you can see just about once.
