Dear friends, I visited shimoga on 2014. In this connection I happy to share my own experience about Shimoga.
Shimoga is a calm towwn in North-Karnataka. The main thing is Saradha Temple is emphaseized shimoga’s pride. Saradha Temple is the main temple in Shimoga. Don’t miss to visit there!
Another important sightseeing is there is a bird sanctury which is situated just 29km fm Shimoga. when I saw that place, I was wondered. Because different types of Birds & also lot of from forengn countries. Lot of trees gives us ezcellent Cool climate.
In Shimoga we found very nominal Hotels only. Because staying & fooding is not a big thing there. Accomodation availed in a nominal place only.
Finally, Shimoga is the safety city only. We need not worry about Safety problems!
