Their recent ads featuring Javed Jaffrey are very unprofessional. In the two ads I’ve seen, he behaves inappropriately with females, one apparently in some social setting where everybody seems to be dancing at a wedding and he pretends to be a snake and "stings" his boss’ wife, and the other where he’s daydreaming about some romantic interlude with a female speaker at a meeting.
In both, the boss(same actor) sacks him and the Shine mouse mascot comes up and comforts him and tells him to download the Shine app so he can move onto another job. Anyway, record keeping is poor in India and while gossip abounds, criminals seem to have moved quietly into other jobs without anybody knowing their backgrounds. This ad suggests that Shine is proud to help such unprofessional people who misbehave in the workplace.
