Your reliable family dining experience

Whenever you are confronted by that major problem of taking out a group with members from different generations and cusine preferences for a sumptuous dining, and want to make a success of it, head straight for the Shiv Sagar Juhu. Success assured. I bet my weekly wages that all your guest will be happily wishing you goodbye with a very satiated tummy and mind.

Chinese, South Indian, Pav Bhaji & the tawa, Pizza & Sandwhiches, Mexican, Continental, Punjabi you name it. Not one of your guest will ever go home disappointed. And believe me the food is not only good but served a plenty. They easily make one of the best vegitarian Chinese in the Country. Starters like green pepper chilli will make you turn in your midnight bed a couple of days later, don’t be surprised if happen to visit this place a little before midnight just to satiate that binge.

The food is delicately prepared and the servings are quite large any serving is enough for a hungry three.

The service is pretty good(I’d reserve this comment on Sundays, when a waiter may loose it due to heavy crowd pressure). The dishes, bowls, cutlery are spic and span. The Airconditioning is good.

Then whats the flipside?

  1. Sometimes, especially weekends, you could have to wait upt half an hour to get a place.

  2. All the kids inside somehow feel this is a gaming arcade and the voice decibels are pretty high. Forget any quite romantice dinner etc.

3.If you do not stay firmly on one or two cusines you might end up with a mess of taste at all that cost.Usually happens when too many people do the ordring and everybody wants to taste what’s on the table.

4.Lots of food can get wasted in multi cusine orders. Unless you do not mind wasting a few buck stic to the tried and tested stuff. Shivsagar has a habit of innovation. I have seen it over the years, And while most of the new dishes are great, you may discover how much you dislike that new dish you just ordered.

I have visited so many high end Chinese Joints where you could easily spend a thousand bucks per person, once you eaten here you will realise how much profits the high end guys may be making with foods just about matching Shiv Sagar’s taste in terms of satisfaction.

Altough Shivsagar may not empty your credit card sizeably, be prepared for between 1000 & 2000 for about six persons with all going for the four courses i.e. soup, starters, meals & dessert. Satisfaction is guaranteed.
