I usually shop after reading extensive reviews on MouthShut_Official.com (my fav :)) & many other sites that Google pops up :)
I had ordered following things from shopclues.com:-
1> Logitech wireless mouse @ 479/-
2> Laptop Light @ 110/-
3> Dermicool powder @ 18/-
4> Suremen deo @ 58/-
My experience was fairly good while:-
a> Ordering process
b> Payments
c> Delivery
The prices listed on shopclues.com are quite competitive for some products (you need to be well versed with the product costs before buying it online from any site). However, coz of competitive pricing you may not get the products in the mentioned time-frame - you may need to wait a bit more...
My order of laptop light was not delivered within the mentioned time-frame - I mailed the support team & they were courteous enough to give me a call-back & make me understand their situation. I gave them some more time - when the product was not delivered within the extended time-frame, I mailed them & requested refunds - Sure enough, my refund was processed!
You may feel sorry at times coz in the above deal (time-frame) you may have lost another competitive deal on some other site or may be from some local vendor - but that’s the gamble!!! Products delivered were found to be genuine to me. I am not an expert to find out tampered items.The packaging was professional - mostly these guys used blue-dart to deliver my ordered products.
So far... So good...
Best of all :: Their jaw dropping deals (like dermicool powder @ 18 per piece including shipping) are freaking awesome.
However, you cant order more than 1 item per house hold on the discounted price.
Moreover, its like booking tatkal ticket on irctc.co.in :: Yes! you guessed it right! Once the Jaw dropping deal is announced, the site is overloaded & you may not get your product due to completion of stock at later hour.
It took me around 2 hours (intermittent tries) & 5 to 7 tries to get my order of dermicool powder :)
Point to note :: You dont have control over colours or flavours of the product you order that are on deals (Rajeev_Vermacially jaw dropping deals) - I got dermicool (Sandal) while I wanted dermicool (Lime)
I wanted black coloured Logitech mouse & I got blue.I am fine as I get very competitive pricing!!! :)
I am impressed with these deals as it attracts more customer base on the site & keeps the customer busy checking the site again & again - Good strategy...
Point of advice :: This site doesnt sell the product by itself - they just act as mediator between you & the individual dealers - so it is advisable to check the rating of the dealer & the product before making purchases to avoid last minute issues....
