On 06 September 2015 I ordered a Brut Deodorant from Shopclues.com with a pricing of Rs. 249. It showed that the product was "In Stock".


It was the first time I ordered something from Shopclues.com. After I ordered, I came to know about the slow processing of orders in Shopclues. It would take 3 days for processing & 1 more day to get quality checked. And after one day it would be shipped.


Also shipping speed is more than a week. This is charted on the order page. It is good to let the customers know about the exact day of each process the product goes through.


But my expectations turned into nothing. After 3 days of waiting, On 9 September, Shopclues sent me an email about the non-availability of the Deodorant I ordered. When I opened the product page, it still showed that the product was "In Stock"! I believe they never update the availability status of each & every product. It was a prepaid order so I got my refund after 1 day.


Pros:

  1. Cheap price

  2. Packaging is good

  3. COD option is available(but not always)

Cons:

  1. Product availability is uncertain & they don’t update the current status

  2. Slow processing

  3. Slow delivery

  4. Packaging is not so great, could have been better

On 10 September 2015, I ordered an eye mask from Shopclues. With slow processing & slow delivery speed(Through XpressBees) I received my product 17 September 2015. The product was intact.
