No Clues, this site is that BAD

I ordered a APC UPS from this site on 16th August. I received a intimation from them that the product is shipped on 17th Aug with a tracking id and the courier service being IndiaOnTime. That is another one of the worst choice to make if you are sending any parcel. I was trying to check the tracking id for this courier service and was not able to check the same.


Upon that I called the courier company asking about my tracking id which told me that there was no parcel booked with that tracking id. Upon calling the customer care service on Monday, I was being told that since Saturday and Sunday was not a business day, the same would be updated by today. On Tuesday I was able to check my tracking number.


I was told that I would receive my order within 5-7 days of purchase. When I inquired on Friday 23rd August, I was told to confirm with the courier company. The same courier company told me that the parcel has reached Mumbai and would reach me by Monday or Tuesday next week.


On 27th August, when parcel still did not reach me, I called Shopclues customer care, they are telling me that the parcel got lost in transit and I am going to get the refund. I was given an option to reorder the item, and I said I am ready to reorder only on the condition that the IndiaOnTime courier would not be used.


Their reply was that "We randomly select the courier company, so we cannot guarantee." I mean is it a lottery you people are selecting. When I give you instruction not to use a certain courier company, just remove from the list and then randomly select. Is that so difficult?


I mean couple of questions for ShopClues (if they have any clues):

  1. What trackingID did you people give me which I could not track for 3 days?

  2. If a parcel got lost in transit, when were they going to intimate me? Why is that when I called that they are telling me that such a thing has happened?

People Buying on shopping clues:

  1. Buy at your own risk

  2. I know that their offers are attractive, but they come at the price of the above experience.

  3. If you people still want to buy, GOOD LUCK..

As for me.. No more Shopclues for me. Thank you.
