I am one of shopclues’ scammed customers . Let me tell you that I know the "Official " process to place a complaint on shopclues and I have tried them all . In true sense, tried "all" . The customer care call, the customer care e-mail, the return request in the shopclues, contact merchant, etc .
Now, let’s talk about my issue with shopclues( given that there are thousands of such scammed customer I’m also one of them) .
*This is my order id - 71870498
return id - 2195068
I ordered 25 inch LED monitor(Rs. 14, 849)
and I received 20 inch LED Tv( costs Rs. 5, 600).*
After a weeks rigorous hard work( continuous calling and e-mailing), I got them to reply .
and the reply I received is one line:- " Your return request has been declined " with no explanation . I called up again to know the reason and the reason that they tell me is -
" The merchant declined says he has sent the right product ."
Before I go further I would like to highlight a few things -
*1 . The order I received had someone else’s name too with his order id .
Somehow it had two receipts and one of the receipts had my name .
I also confirmed with the other order id that the 20 inch was ordered by the person
which was to be delivered in Banglore and it is now cancelled .*
So, this is pretty transparent .I would not magically come to know to all the order details( other than my order) of shopclues .
Now, **let’s consider the fact even if the merchant sent the right product and in between one of the shopclues staff made the mistake or(deliberately scammed). It is not my responsibility, I ordered through the shoplcues . I did not order directly from the merchant .
In fact, that’s why these e-commerce sites exist to provide a reliable medium . Otherwise, we all could order anything from all over the country via Net Banking and Courier .*
why would anyone use e-commerce .
There are thousands of customers who are scammed by shopclues, they have received empty boxes, brick etc . Sad! I did that research after being scammed .
I was really disappointed to see such detestable services by the " highly marketed " platform . I can see this website all over the internet, tv, banners . I wish they made investment in providing services . No marketing would have been needed .
The only e-commerce I have come across which does not care about the customer at all .
Basically, they have declined my return request . and they are not going to return the product . and the amount for which they have scammed me is Rs . 14, 849 .
They sent me a product which has no use me . Even if I could use it still there is a difference of around Rs. 10, 000 .
