I have been reading Rediff since 1999. I had shopped at Rediff for cakes, flowers and Indian sweets. My shopping experience wasn’t too bad with them at the time.
This time I ordered a Panasonic Cordless phone, and boy do I repent my decision!First of all, they took my order and charged my credit card the very same day (April 23rd).I also got a call from one of their representatives to verify my address and he said the product will reach me in 4/5 days.
I was very happy that things are going smoothly. But when the product didn’t arrive in 4/5 days, I just checked my account on Rediff. The order status said " No service to the delivery address by the shipping company " !!!
So, if they could not find the address where the product was to be delivered, why did they charge my credit card in the first place??
So I wrote them to cancel my order and refund me. It took more than ten days for them to refund my money. I am very disappointed with Rediff Shopping.
I would suggest being very careful while shopping at Rediff.com
