I have been associated with Rediff.com for a long time. I fondly remember it used to be the fastest site on net. The pages moved at lightning speed. I could send mail in a moment. About year and half ago I joined Rediff QnA. Participating in QnA forum used to be fun. In asking questions and answering questions, I made several friends. With some, this virtual friend ship turned real.
We began communicating through emails; conversing on mobile; chatting on messenger; sending SMSs and then even met some personally. Just as we were enjoying it, some undesirable elements joined in. They began posting vulgar messages, began advertising potency tablets, and when they were banned they began posting abusive messages in member’s mailboxes.
The management was able to arrest the trend to some extent. Then one day suddenly management decided to bring about a change in features. The intentions no doubt were honorable, but it was a job not done well. The whole system crashed. The users pleaded, they whined; they complained bitterly and even fought with the management; but the forum so far has failed to improve. The members are still hovering around the beehive, which has no honey left; in the hope, the sweetness would return. Will management do something to restore QnA forum to its original semblance?
