Was looking for a pair of suede / Nubuck casuals and came across Marco Ferro Half Ankle Tan Boot-1420 in Rediff Shopping. Ordered size 8, which was delivered promptly(Order # 13007339). However, the fitting was a bit loose, which was no big deal, as shoe sizes do differ from make to make, although number may be same.
Contacted Rediff and Ticket No #105423776644 was opened. The company replied that the product which I had received was the same product which I had selected while placing the order. I patiently replied that I had not claimed wrong product had been sent; I had merely queried if replacement with size 7 was possible.
Rediff replied that I could contact the original vendor, which I did. The vendor expressed his helplessness, as the transaction was between me and Rediff.
Again contacted Rediff. Got standard reply that I had received the same product which I had selected while placing the order. And I could contact the original vendor if I so wished.
This rigmarole means that Rediff is not interested in customer satisfaction or grievance redressal. Once the goods are dispatched, and payment is received, the company has no further liability. It gives standard nonsensical replies and the customer suffers for no good reason.
End of story: I am having a brand new pair of Marco Ferro Half Ankle Tan -1420 boots, which are loose for me. I can give them to anyone as a gift. Please contact me.
