Partial delivery, no response from Indiatimes Shop

I bought Samsung Galaxy Note N5100 from shopping.indiatimes.com. The overall experience has been horrible and the support has been bad.


Facts:


Order Placed: 24th August 2013.


Shipment Received: 2nd Sept 2013(after 10 days).


Problem: The website claims that I would receive the’Handset, Battery, Charger, Headset, S Pen, User Manual’. But on receipt I found that the headset was not delivered. So I raised a case on 2nd Sept.


Case# 1065834.


Case Creation Date: 2nd Sept 2013.


I got a call from customer care that someone will respond back in 24 to 48 hours.


I did not get any update till 14th Sept 2013. I had updated questions on the case on 9th and 13th Sept, but no one responded.


On 14th Sept, I reached out to the support team who as usual gave me an answer that someone would get back to me in 28 to 48 hours and that’they would have felt the same had they been in my place’.


Summary: The product was as expected given that it was from Samsung. However the overall shopping experience has been bad - both the shipment as well as support.


I strongly feel cheated because I had placed my order based on the fact that the headset was included in the price. Shame on Indiatimes Shopping.


There are better alternatives than this online portal. My experience with Flipkart has been positive so far.

(I wanted to post another review since its been more than 1 month and a week since I had raised an issue with Indiatimes support, but I am unable to post a new review for Indiatimes.)


This is an extension of my earlier review on how Indiatimes shopping cheated me by not shipping the promised original Samsung headset along with the Rs. 27000 tablet that I had purchased.


I am now sharing a review on the following to items(again, based on facts)


1) Bad customer service from Indiatimes Shopping


I received the product on 3 Sept 2013 and immediately reported that I had not received the headset. Since then I have made several attempts to connect with Indiatimes Shopping. I have reached out to them multiple times, via the case, web chat, over social channels, yet there has been no solution yet. Someone did call me after I posted on mouthshut and promissed to get this resolved, however there has been no action yet. The below are the case details

2) Poor response from TimesInternet on Mouthshut


I also want to share that not only the customer care at Indiatimes shopping do not respond to the case, as you can see from the case conversation above, the TimesInternet group, who monitors the mouthshut portal for customer feedback also do not seem to have authority to have the issues resolved.


Whenever I have posted on mouthshut, I have been asked to wait patiently. Its been more than a month and still I get the same response.


As I have mentioned earlier, someone did call me a couple of times, but after that call, there has been no action yet.


I don’t want to recommend anything here. I leave it up to the reader to make a choice. But I have had bad experience with Indiatimes Shopping.


I know that the effort of pursuing with Indiatimes Shopping is a waste, however given that I have started the followup, I am not going to give up till Indiatimes Shopping or TimesInternet hand over what I have already paid for.
