I had ordered a Bajaj iron (Bajaj Light Weight Dry Iron) https://shopping.indiatimes.com/electronics/dry-iron/bajaj-light-weight-dry-iron-new/10331/p_B762679 from shopping.indiatimes.com on 22nd April, 2013. As per their site page it is a 1000 watt iron (they have not yet corrected that information) but when I got the iron I came to know that it is a 750 watt iron. These people had published incorrect information on their site about the product. When I told them the same they asked me to send the picture of the product.
When I sent the pictures I was told that they were not clear and they could not see 750W written on the picture. Well…the shopkeeper is supposed to know the ins and outs of the product he is selling, isnt he? Bajaj Light Weight Dry Iron is of 750W only.
Nevertheless, then I sent them new snapshots which were clear. I got a call from the CC executive and I was then told that I will have to pack the product and resend it to them. I was against this as the mistake was from their side. They acceded to my request and they said they would arrange for a reverse pick-up. I said it’s fine and I then requested him to mail me that they are arranging for a reverse-pick up and that they are changing the product. He refused. He said he doesnt have the authority! LOL!
Then I said ask someone who has the authority to reply to the mail. But he was reluctant. And nobody replied to my mails for 3 days. After which, I wrote an e-mail saying that it was my worst online shopping experience and neither I am going to buy anything from their site in future nor I am going to recommend it to anyone.
I would kindly request people to not go for this site as they give false information. The Customer Care is pathetic. They take lot of time in replying to the mails and at times they don’t even reply. It’s better to avoid buying anything from this site.
