Most pathetic and worst experience of Online Shopping.
I personally suggest, please dont buy anything from Indiatimes shopping. On the eve of Rakhi, we have booked Gold rakhi of D’dmas through indiatimes shopping on 13th Aug’08. On request to customer care department at mumbai, we have requested and got the assurance that the product will be delievered on 14th or latest By 15th Aug’08. As we all are aware the Rakhi was on 16th Aug’08. On calling again we have got the assurance that the same will be delievered on 16th morning.
However to our shock, its not delivered on 19th Aug’08 as well. Another shocking information is that the floor supervisor Mr Shailesh(i would like to write the name of this gentlemen? coz he doesnt know his job actaully, and believe in avoiding customer by hanging the phone line after seeing the phone no.), We dont believe that a customer care person will do this to any body. Mr Shailesh is telling us on repeated calls to them, that dear sir, we are extreamly sorry, but at this moments all the products are exhausted by the merchant, because of that we will not be able to deliever the product, so in this case we are cancelling your order and returning your money back.
I was furious by hearing this, if this is the case then what the hell they were doing since 13th till 19th, now they are telling me, that they will cancel the order!
My question was who has given u the authority to cancel the order, which I have ordered u? and for playing with the emotions of the customer I will take u to consumer forum. However since then Mr Shailesh dont have courage to take my call and is avoiding the same.
However for your information I have invested 30 minutes wait on line on STD line just to have a word with a senior customer care person.
But All in vain. All the customer care I must repeat customer care people(Ms Karuna, Mr Zainul, Anand, Sumeet Kr, Jasvinder, Tapan Swati(Mumbai call center), Mr Asif & Ms Arti(Punjab) along with their dear Floor Supervisor, Mr Shailesh & Mr Nitin.
I once again suggest u, please dont do any thing from Indiatimes.
