I purchased a bunch of flowers on Feb 6th, 2013. Order number is 3001974295. I set the custom delivery date as Feb 7, 2013. I wanted to send this bunch of flowers to my girlfriend on her birthday. Till evening when she didnt receive the same. I called customer care for delivery in stipulated time. They consoled me asked by that by what time I want delivery. I replied that I want before 4 pm.
They said ok. But she didnt receive till midnight. Delivery guy called her at 1 AM, that was on feb 8, 2013. Moreover by that time she was made a move to her hometown. So obviously when I am ordering for her birthday, why should we accept after the occasion.
Later on when I asked for the reason, they said that they will cancel my order and refund my money. But who will refund my day which they spoiled. Later they kept calling recipient without any reason and they didnt talk to me. (I clearly mentioned my contact number in the complaint).
Not only this, after 1 day they closed my complaint without my intimation, and surprising thing was my ordered status changed to ‘Delivered’. When I again called them, they replied me that it has been sent to a wrong person by mistake. But I didnt ask them to deliver after Feb 7, 2013.
Customer care executives have no courtesy at all. To them flowers are just like a product and they don’t bother about delivery date. Anyways I am going to sue them in consumer court; I want compensation for the day that they spoiled.
If they were unable to deliver within stipulated time, they should have informed me in advance so that I could have gone to some good website for the same. But I suggest you not to waste time and money on this website. They will cheat you like anything.
