NFL Football is something most American’s love to watch on a Sunday afternoon in Fall. I love football, and ever since I was small I enjoyed watching my favorite team strive each Sunday to win their game. Now many years since then I have come to a conclusion that NFL football is paying to much money for those players. I don’t feel that we should pay them that much money for the stuff they do on the field. Many teams can’t compete with those Bigger NFL teams. Therefore we tend to lose some of our best players to other teams that can afford to pay them that big money.
NFL football has gone from a sport to a money hungry game. Most players are going free agent for this very reason, they want to be able to get the most money for their talent. This leads to small town teams not being able to buy those high priced football players. This makes football a little unfair when it comes to playing on the fields. You realize that if you want lots of money cause you believe you are the best in that position then those managers and owners will pay that price to make sure you are on their team. Then those owners who couldn’t afford to pay that guy the same price will lose out to the other owner and that leads to a weak football team.
I understand that a lot of those players have only football as their way of life, and if anything happened to them and they were no longer able to play the game then they need their money to support them for retirement. But they should be thinking about this before they ever enter the NFL, they should have something to fall back on incase of an injury. They need education first and sports last. I don’t want to see some great NFL teams have to bail out in a few years because they just can’t afford to pay the high price for a football player. This would be a sad thing in History if we lost some really good NFL teams just because of money hungry football players. Remember you get supported by those who are your fans!
