Are there no options of negative ratings at Mouthshut?
I regret that I took my brothers admission in this college. The college has got the best of infrastructure( check the attached images) which can be very attractive before taking the admission for any person who is newly introduced to the college. But the reality starts right after your admissions. Ones inconvenience starts from the colleges administration where you will see a species of very dumb people who speak only Marathi ( No problem with marathi speaking people but they do this with other state students too) and are very rude with their attitude.
The other problems I had experienced here are:
1. Faculty- The faculty is the worst part here as the students have more knowledge than the lecturers, even the HODs. The management every year hires a staff of freshers ( just passed out engineering students from their own college with Zero experience)
2. Discipline- No discipline at all. You will see the senior students bullying around the freshers from First year.
3. Exam Centre- This college has lost its Pharmacy and Engineering exam centre approval. It was in news a few years ago when a set of final year students from this college were found with their university answer sheets and question papers at their private room. The college staff was then found involved in police investigation ( this information can be verified from Google)
4. Events- You will find the college Hotshots ( who hold backlogs or even failed for an year) bullying around and organising the Annual events which are a complete spoilsport.
5. Placements- 0 ( All the banners of the college showing companies visiting the campus or being placed are all fake) . My brother was selected by a company campus interview organised in the college, which was later found to be some Consultancy Services, which charge you money to get you placed in some other companies.
If you wish to have an Engineering degree just for a name, then you can happily take admission in this college also famously known as SSPACE( which stands for Shri Shankarprasad Agnihotri College of Engineering) but has got nothing to do with space.
