As the model number indicate we bought this machine in the year 2001 only. As of today after 4 years of usage there is absolutely no problem at all. We use it at least 3 days in a week. Also we have not paid a single paisa for its pipe, nozzle etc.its intact condition as of today.
All front loaded machines needs a permanent place to install, as well as before installation you need to set the ground height level of the machine with the help of wrench supplied by the company. Its definitely not like top loading machine due to its heavy weight in comparison with top loading machines. If you want to wash your regular clothes you may select mode as ’Short Wash’ , select the temp only 40 & put the RPM to 900 & then count the time & see the wash quality. I bet the machine will not take more than 45-50 min. with a quite good quality clothes out. (This is after reading Mr.Mehta’s review on this)
Actually at my home we already had made the provision only for Front loading machine & were looking for the best brand available in the market. Firstly we had look at all IFB products but later on we came to know by the dealer that IFB, India is no more tied up with Bosch, Germany group. And they mfr those machines somewhere in the part of Goa locally. Then we turned & looked at Siemens machines, which are really tough & made up of good quality materials in terms of quality durability its one & the best machines & thier all machines manufactured & made in Germany only.
I would definitely recommend this machine to everyone who has 5-6 persons in the family.
