I visited this place on 26th of March 2017 along with my office friends. It is nearly 40 kilometers from Sagar, Shimoga DIstrict and frequest buses are availavlie. Basically we have to cross the river sharavathi by ferry to reach the chowdeshwari temple. Even we can take our own vehicles to visit this place as ferry(lanuch) facility is available. If you are visiting this place for the first time then plan properly as it will take more then half day to visit this palce and come back. This is very cool place to visit with family.
