Yawn...Huh!...Yawn....Wow!

Well...The Title says it all, doesn’t it?

The storyline(?) also is a bit like that. I am an avid John Grisham fan and this is only the 2nd time that I am reading a Robert Ludlum. The one before this that I had the inclination to read (and finish) was The Prometheus Deception, and I can safely say that it was many times better than ’’THE SIGMA PROTOCOL’’.

I am no writer but I feel that these accomplished writers should avoid heavy duty language and ’what-the-hell-does-that-mean?’ sentences which they use just for effect. Instead they should stick to plain, simple, easy to understand language.

Coming to the Review, simply put, The Sigma Protocol is the story of a Banker called Ben Hartman, who on a skiing vacation to Switzerland, is tried to be knocked down by his old college buddy! After shrugging him off, and some death escapes later, Ben discovers that his twin brother who he thought was dead, is actually alive.(YAWN!...), that there is or was a top secret organization known as SIGMA consisting of top honchos from big organizations all over the world(HUH!) whose main motive was to ...? Well...some murders take place, one Agent Anna Navarro comes into the picture to investigate the murders, she crosses paths with guess who? Ben Hartman of course! (Yawn....) Anyway, things start moving from there onwards, become a little quicker and finally the mystery is solved. (WOW!) To give the story credit, the final outcome is not something which you can easily predict.

To sum it up....Try to Read it, but if you feel a bit sleepy at times, chuck it. You will have not missed anything.

And of course, May Robert Ludlum Rest In Peace!
