Desserts were the best part...here!

The starters were pretty tasty and tangy. We had ordered 2 veg kebab platters for around the 10 of us. Coming to the main course.


We had the usual dal makhni, kadhai paneer, malai kofta etc. and were all pretty satisfied with the quality food, but not so much with the quantity and felt that it could have been bettered.


We asked for the murgh kali mirchi soup, which I didn’t like at all. It felt like more of a hot turmeric water with a faint scent of pepper and bits of chicken. The turmeric was definitely prominent.


The starters were quite good, the fish being tender and fresh, the chicken tikkas and sheekh kebabs being quite succulent and juicy. In veg starters, we really liked the Afgani tikki, which had chana dal as its main ingredient, and the Dilliwali tikki topped with a spoonful of curd and onion julienne.


The desserts did strike a chord with me. Nothing was overly sweet. I really liked the caramel custard, the bread pudding and the moong dal halwa, a rarity for me as I usually never have moong dal halwa anywhere.
