I just saw Sikandar, and all I can say isSalman Khan is back with a bang! Being a die-hard fan, I had set my expectations high, and this movie completely met them in terms of action, emotion, and swag.
The film is about Sikandar, a former military personnel turned messiah of the downtrodden. The plot is similar, but it’s Salman’s screen presence, hard-hitting dialogues, and strong action sequences that make the film work. His entry scene received whistles in the cinema hallabsolute goosebumps!
What I enjoyed the most:
✔ Power-packed action sequences
✔ Strong background score that sends shivers down the spine
✔ Emotional moments that strike an emotional chord, particularly during the second half
✔ The chemistry of Salman with the lead heroine was new and real
Direction and photography were also good, although some sections in the first half were a bit dragged. The villain was okay but could have been more effective.
Songs were peppyparticularly the massy item song and the emotional song in the climax. Choreography and visuals are top-class.
If you are a Salman Khan enthusiast, you will not want to miss it. Even if you don’t mind, Sikandar is a good one-time watch with awesome action and a message. I would rate it 4 out of 5 stars.
