My experience with this airline has been horrible so far. My wife and kids (5yr and 2 yr) were travelling fromLucknow to Delhi on January 4 this year. The flight couldn’t lad because of FOG and landed in Jaipur instead. Air Deccan didn’t provide any accommodation for the night and instead said that they would not take them back to Delhi and asked them to organise for their hotel and transport on their own and said that the airline was not responsible for them. At 2 a.m. the Jaipur airport was almost closed with hardly a few people with no eating joints opened at that time. Finally, Jet Airways organised a bus for some of its passengers , a broken Rajasthan Tourism bus to Delhi, to board which, my wife paid cash and returned to Delhi net afternoon. All suffered from frost bites and were ill for almost a fortnight. Air Deccan officials had never been available to provide the status update at any point of time during the incident. Howeevr during the same emergencies, other airlines have at least tried their best to ensure passenger safety and comfort.
I strongly suggest that airlines like AD should be avoided for their frivolous and irresponsible attitude.
