And Air Deccan proves why it is 3rd class. Almost always late, very few check in counters, just 15 KG baggage allowed, additional KG costs you 70 Rs/Kg. So even if your ticket is low priced, you end up paying more in case you have a little more luggage.
Besides, the Check-in counter crew is awfully slow and without a smile. Hate is a very small word for them which I can think of now. It takes a loooong time to get through that line at the Check-in counter. Recently in a flight from kolkata - bangalore, I was suffering with fever and asked the cabin crew for a blanket, and they didnt have a single one. So, I asked them to lower the AC and obviously they couldnt do it. I told them, that I can agree that it is low cost service, but isnt having a few blankets like 5-10 for emergency and all, a good idea?? He had no answers.
All said, very UN-Ergonomic chairs add to the misery of the passengers. I can admit that it is the cheapest, but do we really dont the reason now?? It is the cheapest, because it is the worst!!!
