My experience with Air Deccan is probably the worst. I was trying to byu ticket for CCU-BLR-CCU. The first day even after trying it for many a time I could not get my ticket as the system response time was pretty slow. But in this transaction once it happened so that the system timed out while generating the PNR, i.e. after me giving out my credit card number to Air Deccan.
The next day I got my PNR successfully. After a few days when I got my credit card statement I found that the same amount has been deducted twice from my card. After talking to the representatives of Air Deccan and thru mails (from Winnie) I came to know that there was 2 PNR generated in my name and hence he requested me to cancel one after which they can refund the amount. I promptly followed their instruction but you would be astonished to know that I have not got the refund till date even after more than a month.
Hope any sensible person would understand that a person would not knowingly byu 2 tickets for the same flight hence ther must be some problem in the transactions.
I have recently lodged a complaint to the Consumers Forum against them.
This is s request to you all who read this document, be cautious while dealing with Air Deccan. They are always delayed, air hostess services is not smooth and few of the are very rough too. There are lot many to share with you all.
