Yes, while going through one of the reviews, I noticed it is being called as AIR --DHAKKAN !!!!..CORRECT.At Air Dhakkan or Deccan, they treat passengers like goats ... at the airport check in counters the scene resembles like a Bus- stop.. and people waiting to be loaded up like goats..FREE FOR ALL SEATING.... No seat numbers.....!!!!Amazing... and wonderful... u stand first in the Q for the chiecest seat.........punctuality... No comparison... But definately better than a bus journey...Summary:
THIS AIR LINE BETTER SUITED FOR FIRST TIME FLIERS... Who do not know what type of Services other airlines are giving...TRUE: At such a low fare .. what extra you can expect than a Flying Volvo Bus Journey...I tried once.. from Bangalore to Belgaum... There is no other airline serving this sector....at 3/30 in the morning I get an SMS that the flight ETD 9.00 am is delayed by 15 minutes...at 4.30 am again a SMS is flashed saying the Flight is cancelled... no reasons offered...
There was no other alternative left... if I had known the previous evening I could have taken a train and reached Belgaum early morning...other time: My friend asked me to take Shatabdhi.. exp. at 6.00 am from Bangalroe to Chennai...Me a stubborn Frequent flyer, instead of heading towards the Rail way station proceeded towards the Airport... and bought the ticket on Air Deccan after getting the assurance that It would start on time at 7.30 am...
After check in... waiting for the boarding announcement, !!!!!!!!!..Till 8.30 no ground staff was able to tell when exactly they will announce.... Please wait... that’s all they said...We took off at 11.30am.Finally at 11.15 after I got a call from my friend that he has reached Chennai by Shatabdhi exp... I realiesed why .. he was advising me not to take the Air-Deccan Bus service... It is better to travel by Ordinory or Passenger Train, if no other airliner is there on that sector. Anywasy, new revolution in the skies....... but not for Business / Frequent Fliers.
