Hey guys! If you like sterile, clinical stuff -- well Singapore is for you. Nothing ever goes wrong in the damned city. Everything is so super-duper and organised and methodical and systematic that you feel like pulling your damn hair. It doesn’t really matter what time of the year you go because the weather is the same throughout the year. No one flips cigarette butts on the road, no-one ever spits on the road, no-one ever breaks traffic rules, and everyone but everyone reads the Strait Times. It’s good to have a look-see at the Esplanade(has the opera and stuff), it’s a kind of a landmark of the city. A boat-ride in the singapore river is fun as is a visit to Sentosa island by the ropeway. For Indians the visit to Mustafa is a must for doing their shopping. You get everything there from condoms to gold to well you name it! The Changi airport is the best part of the town. It’s mind-blowing. One could spend 2 days there -- and not get bored. Then there is the boat-quay and the clark-quay for the night life as well as innumerable Irish Pubs. Shopping is an out-of the world experience on the favourite Orchard Road. The cab-drivers speak good English and as a rule don’t cheat you. I think the visit to the city-state er country is a must. Never mind the penchant for systems.
