Movie without a story

I took my wife and kids to watch this movie based on a recommendation from my friend that it is a very funny movie and the punches are too good.

I have a good taste in movies and for me to like a movie, it has to have a good story. I was so much disappointed watching this movie. Singh is Bliing had NO STORY WHATSOEVER.

Such blunt jokes. I mean, to seriously like this movie, please leave your brain at home. Jokes are downright basic, kiddish. Not humour at all. Story was not good.

Basically, it was a torture sitting through this movie. At the time of Interval, I was like, "Oh crap! Only half of the time is over". But I had to sit through the entire movie for the sake of my family as they were enjoying it too much.

Maybe my sense of humour is way above.

Story is about a careless Punjabi guy who cannot get a hold of life, is irresponsible, yet his father wants him to succeed and build a nice career so he sends him off to Goa to work for his childhood friend who owned a casino there.

This is where the female counterpart comes in from Romania, a gorgeous young girl who got fed up of his father’s mafia business and came looking for her mother in Goa. The two meet, at first they didn’t like each other and had communication problem because she spoke only english while Akshay Kumar didn’t know english. Some how Akshay’s fortune strikes well for him and he succeeds in his job and also starts liking the actress.

After this the story is same like all other romantic stories with a little bit of Punjabi punch.

I would say it was a good attempt at being funny and perhaps succeeded for a small group of audience. Not me ofcourse. I didn’t like the movie that much.

Still I would say that it is a family movie, one time watch.

Music was horrible. the song itself best describes the music: "Choon chain choon chain." Haha. I don’t think I need to say anymore.
