Hi guys,
I visited sinhgad fort in august 2014.It is just around 30 km from Pune, maharashtra.
We came there by bus, there are various slots of mahamandals buses from the Swargate bus station .
We went there frm swargate bus to the Donje area near this fort and from this area to the bottom of fort by private taxis in shared basis.
It is just heaven of real nature and beauty of god.
It has very beautiful greenery, some small abd large waterfalls.
It is a very good spot fir one day trip with your loved ones.
The fort is famous because if various battles by Shivaji maharaj .
In rainy season it is good time to visit and see the beauty of fort. But you have to rake some pracaution because the stems or floor becomes sleepery .
We reached at the top of highest point by walking around 2-3 hrs by enjoying each moment.
We enjoyed there the Zhunka and Bhakri very much. Also had fun by eating hot nd salty Sweetcorns.
In early years it us also called as Kondhana .It has very big two doors named as Pune darwaja and Kalnyan darwaja.
At the top of fort there us veey good memorial of Tanaji Malusare.
You can also visit the Khadakwasla Dam which is very near to this fort.
We had very much fun and always feeling proud of this fort because it is in our Punyanagari.
