Placements: Not too good, not too bad.Almost 50 to 60 companies visit the college every year and 65-75% of students were placed.Most of the college gets placed in Accenture(highest recruiter), Infosys, TechMahindra and TCS.Other like Persistent, Amura tech, Larsen and Toubro, Capgemini, Softlink International, EQtech, Eaton also take a considerable amount of students.Computers, IT and E&TC have about 65-75% placement. A few lucky ones from Mechanical, Production, Civil, Biotech and Chemical manage to get placed. Minimum package is 3.6 to 4 lpa whereas average is 5 to 6 lpa.Highest package of 8.2 lpa was given by NVIDIA.Even Microsoft, Adobe, Amazon took the cream of the college this year.Being a fresher, training is initially given but roles like Data Analyst, Software developer, Software testing, etc are offered.Overall placements are very nice.Internships are offered by Dell, Persistent, and a lot of MNC’s.College has its Placement and overseas cell making it easy to get internships with stipend of avg 7K per month.around 35 to 40% of students got internships.
Infrastructure: Its one of the most beautiful campus in pune, for sure.Taking about infrastructure, there is a wifi connection throughout the campus.Classrooms are spacious and airy, with projectors.Labs, Workshops are fully equipped with most advanced technologies installed.There is a huge library of 6 floors with big halls and all reference books, high speed wifi facility as well.All hostels are in the campus itself and are fully secured with their own ambulance just a call away.Hostel amenities are quite good but the mess food is just below average at 50K per yr.Canteen offers quite a nice stuff at affordable prices.College has its own big cricket ground, long tennis, basketball, football court in the campus as well.Me being a part of Sinhgad family didn’t faced any infra related issues till now.But again really the campus is just like heaven.totally beautiful!
Faculty: Faculty is well experienced, there are HOD’s, associate professors with Phd, assistant professor with lot of knowledge and 15 to 20 yrs of experience.Projectors are used and PPT’s are delivered for better understanding.Every year students of all the branches organize an IV(industrial visit).We just visited the IT park of B’lore.Students of core branches like mech and civil get exposures to MIDC and a lot of industries in final year.The course curriculum set up by the University and college is just so precise and amazing.It brings out an excellent closet of knowledge in the students.My experience with the faculty was quite good, although their standards may not match with the faculty of the other colleges of Mumbai like DJsanghvi, Thadomal shahani, FRCRCOE, etc but they are very helpful and experienced to guide you through.
Other Details: Sinhgad oragnizes its annual fest KARANDAK which is one of the most awaited event of Pune.Every year international DJ like Jay sean, Chainsmokers, Edward maya perforn at the EDM night.Its a 7 days fest with Fashion show(Lisa haydon was invited), musical night(Vishal dadlani, Farhan akhtar invited), Mr and Ms karandak NEON karandak, Purushottam karandak, sports karandak and much more.SINHGAD CARNIVAL is organized every year for the freshers.The campus is beautiful and crowd is just awesome & lastly Mandira Bedi, Prachi Desai are ex-sinhgadian.
