Sivaji- Three and a half hours of pure Rajni entertainment. I could not understand a single syllable of all the noise but I came away happy. Sivaji- The Boss, is a complete paisa wasool. Does it really matter, that you dont knw what pongo, vaango, and ukaroongo means?
What matters are the gravity defying stunts, superstar Rajnikant can conjure up (And yes, you do feel like standing up and clapping and whistling, everytime he does that), the thumping beats of AR Rehman,
the very bollywoody costumes by Manish Malhotra and Neeta Lulla.
The Rajnikant range of stunts are something you want to copy. I can bet
there will be very few people (the really old ones -mentally and physically old are exempted) who do not want to copy Rajnis stunts or havent ever come away wondering how does he do it?
I did the coin-flipping one - the coin Rajni flips, falls into his pocket.
The gum throwing trick is impossible to replicate- a lot of special effects needed. He has a way with his
glares too and the way he drums his bald head. Rajnikant keeps saying one word
throughout the film, that the non Tamil-speaking janta will understand - cool. Sivaji, Rajnis character, uses this word to demonstrate his
phoren-returned status.
This masala flick has typical song n dance dream seqences, comedy (yes, you will knw it and laugh, even if
you dont understand the language), romance, drama, action and some
really cool special effects. Absolute must watch, trust me.
