This film is great entertainer movie with a wide range of plots used for stunt and comedy.
The Jackie Chan movies are always filled with action packed comedy entertainment. This is also such type of movie that comes along with co-star Johnny Knoxville as sidekick who both are escaping from corrupt mobs and gangs throught the film. The film was not that much inco-operated with fight scenes which Jackie Chan is best known for. Both men are mostly trying to evade before fights breakout.
The film is overproduced and underwritten, with editing that feels more like it’s filling gaps in the storyline. Skiptrace is a movie made to serve a number of competing interests and markets, and in trying to offer thriller twists side by side with comedy. The film was not having great appeal to me as I expect from the movies like rush hour series. Jackie Chan is trying very hard to workout some scenes at his old ages that I give props for.
The travelling nature of the film gives the audience to watch some amazing cultural activities and beautiful places. The stunts were lacking some potential as of Jackie Chans earlier movies but it a great entertainer for timepass and cultural knowledge.
