I brought Skoda Laura 2tdi DSG on 2011 but from the last six months car giving trouble in fuel system very time I report to local skoda dealers, they put the car on computer system and say due to some wiring problem only and no major problem on 8-03-2013 the car stopped on the run.
Then I called the toll free no for tow van they took to nearest service point they took one week to generate report then another week to get fuel tested for adulteration from SGS centre Thane they reported fuel was adulterated and so the warranty ill be limited first I received a call from Skoda saying I was allowed to claim 50% of the total cost.
Then I went to the dealer said that I have to pay 70% 30% by Skoda again I called the Skoda customer care head mr. Deepak from skoda said saying that 50% will be my part 20% why dealer and 30% by Skoda for which I accepted and when I went to dealer they say that 20% dealer is conditional so they are rejecting the claim.
I have to bear the 70%cost now I sourced the parts from Mumbai and Delhi at 30% of the total cost
All I am saying is don’t buy Skoda in India spare parts are very very expensive and hard to source it took 2 weeks to source it some as to be imported from UK after sales support from Skoda will be a nightmare! Never trust European make cars in India as all are the same!
