Now with the new looks and loads of goodies the new laura is a better package. I particlarly liked the automatick version as it simplifies driving around in city esp. Delhi. The suspension felt strong and is tried and tested on indian roads. The gear box is fabulous and the very smooth and you even have an option of manual shift even the automatic version.
The pumpe duse engine my be slightly noisy but a great performer/excellent fuel eco( better then CRDI) The VW jetta uses the same engine in india.
