Skoda rapid is using the re-tuned 1.5-liter turbocharged four-cylinder TDI engine developing 103bhp and 250Nm of torque, which was recently launched with the Polo GT TDI. The power will be delivered to the front wheels via a seven-speed DSG gearbox. As of now, the Rapid will be the only C-Segment sedan to offer DCT(Dual Clutch transmission) with a diesel engine.

With the additional technology, this will now be the new top end variant for the Rapid variant range. This model is a best competBrianbalakumaranr of the Hyundai Verna as the second diesel AT in the segment.
