I had ordered for a pair of Paruppu thengai on 11th Apr over phone. This sweet
is a pyramid shaped laddu( a pair) and kept on a tray for all important
festivals like(Grah pravesh, etc) I had arranged for a small Narayaneeyam
function at home.(a reading of Lord Shri Krishna story composed at Guruvayoor)
I needed a pair of these sweets for the Rukmini marriage to Krishna for the
following day - 15th April 2008.
The delivery was on 14th evening, I had to
collect them from Chembur, when I went to collect the order only one of these
was ready. These sweets are normally ordered in two. One representing the male
and one representing the female. I dont know how they kept only one ready. I
could not collect the one, had to come home and prepare it myself in the last
minute.(as very less time was left). This was my first time experience with the
Chembur branch of SKS
