Skype is a service best known for video calling and messaging. The 90s generation is blessed with such technology to have which connects anyone around the world free of cost.
So far me and my brother who resides abroad used to have calling through Skype, and even today we do it on weekends.
In my office, there is no intranet, and we we are using Skype for internal communication. There has been continuous communication required between Pune team and rest of the teams outside Pune. sometimes there happens to be technical glitch but overall its a great platform for communication.
Sometimes I also use Skype in mobile, which I am away, though the quality is not great because of my connectivity and my phone support.
