I love using Skype comparing to other chat/communication software due to the icons there. The company usually update them and they’re all cute.
Also, I like Skype interface. They have the background color customized between black and white. Other chat/communication software don’t always have this. In general, their interface is wonderful.
However, if you care more about the connection signals, Skype might not be that good comparing to other software out there. Sometimes my messages got stuck for hours before it finally reaches my friend. A little bit waiting and miscommunication sometimes can be fun for me. Hence, I still give them 5 stars rating. But you’re writing to your parents like one time a year.uhm. you should either write them more often or choose another chat app.
